Elaine and Tanya found that they were spending all of their weekends, vacations and free time tasting, researching and exploring the wine world. It was this thirst for the ever evolving and illusive mystery of winemaking that brought them to the decision to make a life of this passionate pursuit. It is the belief that a good wine begins in the vineyard that led them to pursue this life in Walla Walla. In 2005 they left Portland, Oregon to make this dream a reality.
Tanya graduated from WWCC with an AAAS in Enology & Viticulture and spent over three years working with Stephen Lessard, making wine for Whitman Cellars. Tanya believes in minimal intervention winemaking, allowing the fruit to present itself under guidance, revealing the true essence of the grape. Elaine has a BS in Business Management and has worked in Accounting for over 12 years. Elaine has had the pleasure of working for two of the pioneer wineries in the valley.
Together, they are committed to maintaining a sustainable and environmentally conscious business and to contribute to local and national charities when possible.
They have much gratitude for the warm welcome and support they have received. They look forward to being an integral part of this industry and community.
